EMP Intake Teams packages selected case files and reports for hand-off, with file checksums and recorded team activity. Recipients can review the exported files without an EMP installation.
1. What the package contains
Teams exports selected originals and reports in a ZIP with a manifest of file checksums. Included content follows the export options and available features. EMP records a separate SHA-256 for the completed ZIP.
2. Multi-user attribution in the audit trail
The included audit data identifies the user and time for recorded case and export actions. It documents supported actions, not every read or click. The package record also identifies who initiated the export.
3. Who can export
Export access follows the user's case permissions. The export record identifies who created the package.
4. Updating a hand-off
When new evidence arrives, create another export and retain the earlier package. Identify the additions in your hand-off notes.
5. Direct hand-off to outside counsel
Large evidence transfers are where email gateways and file size limits get in the way. The recipient gets a single verifiable artifact instead of a fragile pile of attachments.
Several people, one package. EMP Intake Teams builds a verifiable package while recording who contributed what, with shared cases and role-scoped export permissions across the team (pilot planned for 2027). Apply to the Teams pilot →
